The claim has bedrock exposure on the lower end before Pundata flows into the Willow River. The old Pundata cabin is located on the lower celll of the claim and is easily accessible by logging roads and trails. Hand mining of surface gravels was carried out along the length of the creek between 1940 to 1960. Pundata Creek carries significant quantities of fine gold and black sand that can be repeatedly hand panned over much of the creek. Recent logging north and south of the creek provides an opportunity for testing bench placers. Access is available from mid-May to mid-October and this claim provides an excellent opportunity for either hobby or seasoned miners.
