8 mile lake wells/Barkerville area lpm $299,000 CDN
200 hectare (494.210 acre) parcel gold property is a Lease of Placer Minerals (LPM). More than 22,000 ounces of placer gold (860 fineness) has been mined on and immediately adjacent to the Property. The majority of this gold was mined during the early 1900s by Thistle's Hydraulic Company who reported gold grades reaching 15 g/yd3 in a layer of buried interglacial gravels measuring 6 feet thick. The largest nugget found on the property weighed 1 ounce. A detailed seismic refraction survey totaling 1.6km was completed on the property by Frontier Geosciences Inc. The owner is currently bulk-sampling a thick layer of pay-gravels from a buried alluvial channel that was defined in the seismic survey to measure up to 100 meters wide and 2 km long. Settling ponds and water source are in place for testing or production. Report and current production records available.
